We are looking for a lunchtime assistant to help us every day between the hours of 12 – 1.30pm in our Pre-School room during meal times.

Are you an approachable, fun and caring individual? Are you looking for something flexible? This could be the opportunity for you! This role requires supervision and care for the children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. No qualifications are required. Full training given.

We are a busy setting with a happy, friendly and supportive team of staff, working with children aged 6 months to 4 years of age.

Tracy is the owner of the nursery and has owned the nursery since 2011.

Laura is our Nursery Manager.

Laura joined the nursery in December 2011 and has her Level 3 in Childcare. Laura started working here as Bank staff, before becoming a permanent member of staff. Laura has worked in the Pre-School room, and was our Buds Room Leader for 6 years, before taking on the managerial role. Laura is our Designated Safeguarding Lead and also supports Sharon as our Deputy SENCO.

Vicky is our Deputy Manager.

Vicky joined us in October 2022 and has her Level 3 in Childcare. Vicky has experience as a Primary School teacher in South Korea, and as a Phonetics Specialist in Singapore. Vicky has also worked in Early Years settings in London, as well as helping to set up a new nursery. Vicky is our Deputy Safeguarding Lead.

Baby Room

Catherine joined the Mulberry Bush in 2017, and is our Baby Room Leader.

Catherine has her Level 3 in Childcare and has had experience working as a nanny, as well as a childminder.

Catherine loves watching the babies grow and develop and helping them to meet their milestones.

Jazz joined the nursery in October 2023 and is based in our Baby room.

Jazz has her Level 3 Qualification in Childcare, and has lots of experience working in other childcare settings.

Jazz enjoys watching children learn, grow and develop.

Natalie joined the Mulberry Bush team in June 2023, and is a member of our Baby room.

Natalie started her journey at the nursery as a student whilst completing her Level 3 Qualification, and has experience working with all age groups. We are delighted to have Natalie stay with us, and join us as a permanent member of staff.

Natalie enjoys sharing her love of art with the babies and watching their imagination play.

Lydia joined the Mulberry Bush in March 2025. Lydia is a member of our Baby team, and has a wealth of experience working with babies and young children.

Lydia loves working with babies, and helping them to meet new milestones in their learning and development.

Buds Room

Sharon has been part of the Mulberry Bush team since 2003 and is our Buds Room Leader.

Sharon has her Level 4 Qualification, and has lots of experience with all age groups within the nursery. Sharon is also our lead SENCO.

Sharon loves to help the children grow in independence, encouraging them to take responsibility, try new things and make choices.

Kacey joined the nursery in October 2022 and works in our Buds room.

Kacey has experience working in nurseries in the local area and has her Level 3 in Childcare.

Kacey loves singing nursery rhymes with the children, helping them to trigger creativity and open-ended play.

Tegan joined the nursery in September 2018 and has experience working in all our rooms. Tegan is now part of the Buds team.

Tegan holds her Level 3 in Childcare, and has previously worked as a nanny for a young family, before joining us here at the Mulberry Bush.

Tegan loves to bake and cook with the children, and loves to get them all involved in the process.

Amie joined the nursery in January 2025, and is a member of our Buds team. Amie is currently studying for her Level 3 Qualification in Childcare.

Amie is passionate about providing a nurturing and supportive environment for the children.

Annette has been working at the nursery since April 2005 and is a member of our Buds team.

Annette holds a Foundation Degree in Early Years, and has previous experience working as a Support Assistant in local schools.

Annette has worked in all rooms at the nursery, and loves watching the children explore the world around them, and learn through play, discovering new things each day.

Berries

Abbie joined the Mulberry Bush in February 2016 and is our Berries Room Leader.

Abbie holds a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare, and has lots of experiences with all ages working with Holiday Club aged children and volunteering at an orphanage in Kenya.

Abbie loves setting up fun, messy activities for the children to explore in the classroom and outdoors. Abbie finds working with pre-school aged children a rewarding experience, seeing the progress and achievements of the children she teaches.

Holly joined the nursery in January 2024 as Bank staff, but  is now based in our Berries room. Holly is currently studying for her Level 3 Qualification in Childcare. The children and staff are delighted to be seeing more of Holly, and she has built great relationships throughout the nursery.

Holly loves working with all ages, and her energy is contagious. The children love playing alongside Holly, using their imaginations and retelling stories.

Esther has been a student with us here since September 2024 and has since gained her Level 3 Childcare Qualification. Esther’s hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed, and we were delighted when she accepted a permanent position with us. Esther is based in our Berries room.

Esther creates a positive and stimulating environment for the children to thrive, and has experience working with all age groups.

Catherine joined the nursery in October 2025, and is a member of the Berries team. Catherine has a great deal of experience working in Early Years settings, and we are delighted to welcome Catherine to the Mulberry Bush.

Catherine is excited to help make a positive difference in the lives of children and support their development during such an important stage.

Sarah joined the Mulberry Bush nursery in September 2023, and is now based in our Berries room.

Sarah has worked in numerous childcare settings since 2005 and has her NVQ Level 3 in childcare. Sarah has 2 children of my own.

Sarah loves welcoming the children into nursery every morning, and watching them learn, flourish and become more confident in themselves.

Additional Staff Members

Sandra is a member of our Bank staff and joined the nursery in September 2022. She works in all of our rooms covering staff holidays and sickness.

Sandra has years of experience working in Primary Schools, and even worked in a Montessori School in Canada.

In her spare time, Sandra helps to runs a Guide group, and cares for her young grandchildren.

Julie joined the nursery in August 2023, and covers staff sickness an holidays throughout the nursery.

Julie has lots of experience working with children here and abroad.

Kat joined the nursery in September 2024, and is part of our Bank team. Kat’s children attended the nursery, and Kat worked her previously, too. Kat now helps cover staff sickness and holidays throughout the year.

Elaine has recently joined our bank team, but has previously been part of our Buds team since July 2024.

Elaine has heaps of experience working and managing Early Year settings, and loves to get involved with the children’s play and learning, and helping them to discover new things each day.

Michelle joined the nursery in April 2024, and is a member of our Bank staff.

Michelle helps organise and run groups to help support young children and families, and has lots of experience within Early Years.

Chloe joined the nursery in January 2025, and is a member of our Bank staff.

Chloe helps out in all our rooms to cover staff absences and holidays, and the children love her!

Charley joined the nursery in September 2025, and is part of our Bank team.

Charley has worked with us previously, before going on maternity leave. We are very excited to have Charley back!

Charley helps to cover staff sickness and holidays throughout the year.

Richard joined the nursery in October 2025, and is a part of our Bank team. Richard  works in all of our rooms covering staff holidays and sickness.

Richard has experience working with children of all ages, and is already a huge hit with the Berries room!

Paris has recently joined the nursery, and is our lunchtime assistant. Paris supervises and cares for the babies and children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Olivia is a member of our Bank staff and joined the nursery in September 2022. She works in all of our rooms covering staff holidays and sickness.

In her spare time, Olivia is busy studying for her University Course.

Emily is a member of our Bank staff and joined the nursery in May 2024. She works in all of our rooms covering staff holidays and sickness.

Emily is currently attending University, and works at the nursery during her summer and winter breaks.
