Tracy is the owner of the nursery and has owned the nursery since 2011.

Laura is our Nursery Manager.

Laura joined the nursery in December 2011 and has her Level 3 in Childcare. Laura started working here as Bank staff, before becoming a permanent member of staff. Laura has worked in the Pre-School room, and was our Buds Room Leader for 6 years, before taking on the managerial role.

Laura is a keen baker, and loves taking her dog, Bobby, for long walks along the beach.

Vicky is our Deputy Manager.

Vicky joined us in October 2022 and has her Level 3 in Childcare. Vicky has experience as a Primary School teacher in South Korea, and as a Phonetics Specialist in Singapore. Vicky has also worked in Early Years settings in London, as well as helping to set up a new nursery.

Vicky loves being outside and finding new areas to explore with her two young children.

Baby Room

Catherine joined the Mulberry Bush in 2017, and is our Baby Room Leader.

Catherine loves watching the babies grow and develop and helping them to meet their milestones. Catherine has her Level 3 in Childcare and has had experience working as a nanny, as well as a childminder, and has two children of her own.

Outside of the nursery, Catherine enjoys sports and plays on a local cricket team.

Kacey joined the nursery in October 2022 and works in our Baby room.

Kacey has experience working in nurseries in the local area and has her Level 3 in Childcare. Kacey loves singing nursery rhymes with the children, helping them to trigger creativity and open-ended play.

Kacey is a thrill seeker, and loves bungee jumping, abseiling and sky diving. She would love to travel more, too.

Sarah joined the Mulberry Bush nursery in September 2023, and is the newest member of our Baby room.

Sarah has worked in numerous childcare settings since 2005 and has her NVQ Level 3 in childcare. Sarah has 2 children of my own.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading and playing the piano, as well as spending time with her family and friends. Sarah is very excited to grow great relationships with the babies and their families.

Jazz joined the nursery in October 2023 and is based in our Baby room.

Jazz has her Level 3 Qualification in Childcare, and has lots of experience working in other childcare settings. Jazz enjoys watching children, learn, grow and develop.

Buds Room

Jenna joined the nursery in August 2022, and is our Buds Room Leader.

Jenna has her Level 2 in Childcare, and has previous experience working in nursery and pre-school settings. Jenna was based in our Baby room, before taking up this new post in Buds. Jenna is currently working towards her Level 3 Qualification, and is also our Deputy SENCO.

Jenna is so patient with the children, and loves making every day a fun experience for them all.

Nadia joined the nursery in May 2022 as a student when studying for her Childcare qualification.

We loved her so much, we offered her a permanent position, and is now a dedicated member of our Buds room.

Nadia loves reading to the children, and watching their interests develop. She loves hearing about the connections they make between stories and their personal experiences.

Annette has been working at the nursery since April 2005 and is a member of our Buds team.

Annette holds a Foundation Degree in Early Years, and has previous experience working as a Support Assistant in local schools. Annette has worked in all rooms at the nursery, and loves watching the children explore the world around them, and learn through play, discovering new things each day!

Annette has four grandchildren, and spends her time at the beach and baking with them.

Natalie joined the Mulberry Bush team in June 2023, and is a member of our Buds room.

Natalie started her journey at the nursery as a student whilst completing her Level 3 Qualification, and has experience working with all age groups. We are delighted to have Natalie stay with us, and join us as a permanent member of staff.

Natalie enjoys sharing her love of art with the children and watching their imagination play. Natalie enjoys going on long walks with her dog. She loves water sports such as swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding.

Elaine has recently joined the Buds team, and has been with us here since July 2024.

Elaine has heaps of experience working and managing Early Year settings, and loves to get involved with the children’s play and learning, and helping them to discover new things each day.

Berries

Abbie joined the Mulberry Bush in February 2016.

Abbie is our Berries Room Leader, and loves to help children learn and flourish. Abbie holds a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare, and has lots of experiences with all ages.

Abbie has experience working for a Holiday Club at her local church and also worked as a volunteer for an orphanage in Kenya. Abbie loves setting up fun, messy activities for the children the explore in the classroom and outdoors.

Sharon has been part of the Mulberry Bush team since 2003 and is based in our Berries room.

Sharon has her Level 4 Qualification, and has lots of experience with all age groups within the nursery. Sharon is also our lead SENCO.

Sharon is a keen gardener, and loves to grow vegetables in the nursery garden with the children.

Tegan joined the nursery in September 2018 and has experience working in all our rooms. Tegan is part of the Berries team, and is also our Holiday Club Leader.

Tegan holds her Level 3 in Childcare, and has previously worked as a nanny for a young family, before joining us here at the Mulberry Bush.

Holly joined the nursery in January 2024 as Bank staff, but has now joined us as a part time member of staff. Holly will be working between our Buds room and Berries room. The children and staff are delighted to be seeing more of Holly, and she has already built great relationships throughout the nursery.

In her spare time, Holly enjoys spending time with her daughter reading, exploring and learning.

Additional Staff Members

Michelle joined the nursery in April 2024, and is a member of our Bank staff.

Michelle helps organise and run groups to help support young children and families, and has lots of experience within Early Years.

Sandra is a member of our Bank staff and joined the nursery in September 2022. She works in all of our rooms covering staff holidays and sickness.

Sandra has years of experience working in Primary Schools, and even worked in a Montessori School in Canada.

In her spare time, Sandra helps to runs a Guide group, and cares for her young grandchildren.

Julie joined the nursery in August 2023, and covers staff sickness an holidays throughout the nursery.

Julie has lots of experience working with children here and abroad.

Kat joined the nursery in September 2024, and is part of our Bank team. Kat’s children attended the nursery, and Kat worked her previously, too. Kat now helps cover staff sickness and holidays throughout the year.

Olivia is a member of our Bank staff and joined the nursery in September 2022. She works in all of our rooms covering staff holidays and sickness.

In her spare time, Olivia is busy studying for her University Course.

Emily is a member of our Bank staff and joined the nursery in May 2024. She works in all of our rooms covering staff holidays and sickness.

Emily is currently attending University, and works at the nursery during her summer and winter breaks.

Rickie is our nursery chef and joined the nursery in March 2022.

Rickie works in our kitchen on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and provides the children with nutritious, home cooked meals. Rickie has lots of experience in catering and school kitchens.

Julie is our nursery chef and joined the nursery in April 2019.

Julie works in our kitchen on a Thursday and Friday cooking delicious and nutritional meals for the children, catering for all allergies and intolerances.

Jackie is our tea time cook, and works throughout the week preparing delicious meals for the children at the end of the day.

Jackie ensures all of our meals are nutritious and delicious, and caters for all allergies and intolerances.

Laurence is our maintenance man and joined the nursery in September 2022.
